And who doesn't love pi?
Jun. 22nd, 2008 11:09 pmI was going to post...something, but I was distracted by the Very Shiny Crop Circle which is a pictorial representation of pi to nine decimal places (best photos and explanation-picture here). I'm sure this one will be turning up on circlemakers' Top of the Crop 2008 (for some gorgeous crop circle photos, check out their previous years' Top of the Crops and other designs here).
Anyway, the pi-circle hardly deserves to be called "Britain's most complex crop circle" (it looks like a fairly easy design to make compared to the more extravagant ones), but it's very pretty, like a piece of old clockwork or a shiny futuristic thing-a-jiggit. So very pretty. And that's what matters.
