Only thing better than blackberries straight from the spiny deathtrap? Making blackberry icecream out of those berries. (Mmm...so purple...)

Only problem with having "Make them into ICECREAM!!!" as your plan for dealing with excess berries? The several kilograms' worth of icecream now sitting in my freezer.

I know. Boo hoo, poor me.

To say nothing of the gazillion zucchini cakes I'm baking tomorrow to use up the ridiculous amount of vegetables cluttering the kitchen bench. O plants, why are you so bounteous all at once?
