Instructions: List five songs that you are currently digging ... it doesn't matter what genre they are from, whether they have words, or even if they're any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying right now. Post these instructions, the artist, and the title with some lyrics in your blog along with your five songs. Then tag five other people to see what they're listening to.
( The Songs )
Song one is somewhat apropos of my thesis; two, I love for the song and the instrumental between verses (although the melody and the instrumental seem to come from two different songs); three is pure a capella harmonies, and the quintessential sound of the Little River Band (Shorrock *was* the LRB); four, I love for the cello and chorus (quite apart from closet Pink Floyd fannishness); and five is a gorgeous reinterpretation of a Pete Seeger song.
As for tagging people, this is open to anyone with some spare time who wants to share some songs :).
